Groundwater Use
Groundwater use in Central Oregon comes primarily from two types of users: municipal users and domestic users.  Muncipal users include municipal water suppliers, while domestic users include primarily individual households. Together, domestic and municipal water users consume approximately 25,000 acre-feet out of the 3.2 million acre feet of groundwater that flows through the upper Basin each year.
