Your guide will want to put-in on the river right at or just prior to sunrise so you will be fishing during the prime-time of the day for catching steelhead. There are few better experiences than watching the sunrise over the deep canyon walls of the Lower Deschutes. Spey casting is the preferred method of fly-fishing in this stretch, and your guide will teach you a few techniques to get you fishing within minutes. Fishing For Sturgeon On The Columbia Or Chinook Salmon On The Siuslaw River Anyone?
