There is a reason you love living in Central Oregon.  The quality of life in this astounding area is hard to match. The beauty and allure of the Deschutes River probably had a lot to do with what attracted you to this region.  Without a doubt, it continues to nurture your quality of life on a daily basis.  We are fortunate to have such an amazingly beautiful natural resource flowing through Central Oregon.  The Deschutes River is truly the lifeblood of our region.

As the economy has taken a turn for the worse, this year is especially critical.  In the past two years, the DRC has been remarkably successful in replacing the federal project funding that we lost when we were cut out of the federal budget due to Homeland Security, Huricane Katrina and the war in Iraq.  However, 90% of our funding is now highly restricted and specifically earmarked for projects.

You can help the DRC continue to accomplish our ambitious goals by providing financial support that is unencumbered by project restrictions. Such support enables us to build the partnerships and alliances necessary to continue creating large-scale endeavors and producing measurable basin-wide results in water quality and quantity.
